The Somerset Union Soil Conservation District is a special purpose subdivision of the State of NJ Department of Agriculture.   The Somerset Union SCD issues SESC certifications for construction projects exceeding 5,000 square feet of soil disturbance according to the Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Act of NJ.  In addition, the district assists landowners, farmers and municipalities addressing stormwater and water quality issues.

The Somerset Union SCD is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am -3:30 pm.
