The Summer Connections Camp is for youth ages 12-14 that have experienced abuse, neglect and or trauma in their lives. Summer Connections is not your traditional camp with dodgeball and swimming, but instead provides an experience which gives children the tools to assist them in all areas of their lives including how to manage frustration, how to work as part of a team, practicing negotiation skills, learning effective communication, becoming self-aware, and how to resolve conflicts.

Summer Connections focuses on providing youth with tools to address the mind and body connection. Research shows that there is strong evidence of interconnectedness between our physical and mental health. Each day of camp provides a variety of activities which include: karate, yoga and meditation, equine assisted therapy, art therapy, music therapy, cooking classes, robotics workshops, and off site trips.
